"Dance Composition" Workshop Description


10 to 12 noon - Ballet Class with Ernesta Corvino in New York City at Flamenco Vivo Studio, 4 West 43rd Street, between 5th & 6th Avenues, 8th floor (take elevator to Floor 7 and walk up one flight)
You may either take the class or observe.

12:30 to 1:30 - Train to Casa Corvino Little Fox in Norwalk Connecticut

2 to 3 - Lunch

3:30 to 4:30  - Getting started…..Discussion

4:30 to 6 – Exploring choreographic ideas in the studio with movement and music

6 to 7 - Dinner

7 to 8:30 – Continuing to create

9 to 10 - Breakfast

10 to 11:30 - Ballet Class

11:30 to 1 – Continuing to create

12 to 1 – Sharing your work in progress with feedback

1 to 2 – Lunch

2 to 6 – Recreational time….Picnic on the beach and mini-golf and/or ping-pong, board games or just kick back and enjoy being  :)

6pm onward - Option to stay for dinner and/or sleepover another night!

Cost: (Includes most meals)
$175 for one weekend.....(50% non-refundable deposit of $87.50 required 2 weeks prior)
$125 for non-sleepovers.....(50% non-refundable deposit of $62.50 required 2 weeks prior)
$100 for one day.....(50% non-refundable deposit of $50 required 2 weeks prior)

In the 1940s, a young soloist from the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo fell in love with and married a beautiful photographer and costume maker from New York City.
The rest is history........
